Not sure if you have heard it or not, starting from 2022, NFL will have Amazon Prime Video as its exclusive broadcasters for its “Thursday Night Football”. While this was supposed to happen from 2023, when the new media rights for the NFL would have kicked it, but they were able to shave off one year to start early. The NFL Network on Amazon Prime is an 11 season deal which means you can watch NFL on Amazon Prime Video till 2032.
Getting access to full rights of the most famous sports show in the US is a great deal for an online streaming service. Even NFLs own service, the NFL Game Pass, doesn’t offer live streaming that Amazon Prime Video will now do. However, games will still be available on the cable TVs of the participating teams, just like it has been happening till now.
Not just Amazon Prime Video, but all famous online streaming services are trying to target big sports events in various countries to bump their subscriber numbers up. Disney Hotstar similarly holds broadcasting rights for IPL in India.
Prime Video customers will be able to stream the 15 NFL regular-season games along with one preseason game. While Amazon Prime has the rights to stream 11 Thursday night matches since 2017, from 2022, it will have rights over the complete pack that currently rests with Fox. Amazon has made an agreement worth $13.2 billion for these rights.

Various commentaries are going on during the game. With NFL on Amazon Prime in 2020, you had the option to choose which commenter you want to hear. You can install NFL Sunday Ticket from Amazon.com. Once you have installed this, you can use any major streaming devices like Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire Stick, Google TV, and Roku to watch NFL RedZone. Or, you can use your credentials of the NFL Sunday Ticket channel to sign in and watch the live-action on Amazon Fire TV.

You will install the NFL app to be able to watch NFL RedZone on Amazon Prime FireStick TV. To do so, head over to the Amazon Appstore, search for NFL, click on the NFL app that comes along with its logo and click on Get to install it.
